PHIL 111 INTRO TO PHILOSOPHY
3 Credit Hours
A general introduction survey course which introduces the core questions, topics and issues in philosophy. The focus will include and interdisciplinary study of philosophy, including the philosophy of science, mathematics and religion. Other topics surveyed include theories of truth, identity, epistemology, mind-body metaphysics, history and meaning, morality, immortality and the philosophy of God/religion. (3 lecture)
PHIL 150 INTRODUCTION TO ETHICS
3 Credit Hours
An introduction to the major theories of ethics and values. In light of such personal and social problems as morality, freedom, right and wrong, social and political responsibility and the meaning of "good". The course asks how we ought to live in relationship to contemporary moral issues. (3 lecture)
PHIL 170 INTRO TO LOGIC
3 Credit Hours
A comprehensive introduction to the art of making sense, that is critical thinking. Designed to improve one's own reasoning abilities through study of the most common mistakes made in thinking. (3 lecture)
PHIL 231 WORKPLACE ETHICS
3 Credit Hours
A study of the ethical theories and daily applications of ethics in the workplace. Includes value judgments, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making guidelines. (3 lecture)
PHIL 297 SPECIAL TOPICS

An in-depth study of special philosophical topics. (3 lecture)
PHIL 308 PHILOSOPHY OF RELIGION
3 Credit Hours
A study of the major philosophical problems associated with religion, with attention given such problems as the existence and nature of God, faith, religious truth, the nature of man, grounds of beliefs, immortality, etc. (3 lecture)
PHIL 347 ADVANCED ETHICS
3 Credit Hours
This course provides a critical examination of current moral issues and studies the application of ethical concepts and principles. Topics may include abortion, capital punishment, euthanasia, sexuality and selected issues of social concern. (3 lecture)
