Research and analyze legal problems and convey legal analysis of a problem into a written format adhering to the conventions of the legal profession. (3 lecture)
LS 215 LAW OFFICE MANAGEMENT

Course covers the fundamentals of law office management. It is designed to familiarize the legal assistant with the practical inner workings of a law office, including an understanding of law office procedures. (3 lecture)
LS 220 LEGAL RESEARCH & WRITING 2

Students evaluate the main philosophical theories of ethics and law while probing central moral and legal issues, examining the practical application of such theories and issues, and analyzing the interrelationship between ethics and law. (3 lecture)

Comprehensive overview of the major areas of tort law, including basic intentional torts, defamation and privacy, negligence, strict (or absolute) liability, product liability, and nuisance and understanding of the concepts relevant to all torts. (3 lecture)
LS 315 CONTRACTS

Introduction to principles of contract law, including the formation, performance and interpretation of contracts, and the consequences of failure to perform contracts. (3 lecture)

Introduction and overview of the ownership and process of transferring assets. Topics include real and personal property, trusts, wills and gifts, administration of decedent's estates, probate procedure, federal and state estate and income taxes and fiduciary accounting and responsibilities.
