Radiologic Technology, A.A.S.
The Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology prepares qualified individuals to work under the supervision of a radiologist to perform imaging examinations to help diagnose and treat medical conditions.
Field/Clinical Course
Clinical experiences are offered under faculty and mentor supervision at WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center along with its outpatient facilities Medical Office Building B, Mid-Ohio Valley Medical Center, Garfield Medical Center, Southgate Medical Complex and Jackson General Hospital.
Students should average 15 credit hours per semester, or 30 per year, to graduate on time.

Preparation for Admission
- High School graduate or equivalent (USA GED)
- Meet requirements for general admission to college and be admitted to college
- HESI score of 75 or higher
- 4 hours of job shadowing at Camden Clark Radiology Department
- Interview with Program Director and Health Sciences Dean
Admission to Program
- Submit completed Nursing and Health Sciences application
- Provide official copy of high school and prior college transcripts
- 2.0 GPA from high school and/or college
Completion of the application process does not imply the applicant will be admitted to the Radiologic Technician program. Due to space limitations, qualified applicants are ranked according to standardized questions in their interview.

Graduation Requirements
- Completion of 64 credit hours as outlined in the program of study
- Maintain minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA
- A grade of “C” or better in each course in the program of study
