Accelerated LPN to RN Pathway
The Associate of Applied Science in Nursing prepares students for practice while providing a knowledge base for career mobility and further academic study. Completion of the program of study provides eligibility to apply for licensure as a registered nurse.

Clinical Courses
These courses have a clinical component that require a background check on admission, drug testing, active CPR card and current immunizations. Clinical courses: NURS 174 TRANSITION TO PROF NURSING, NURS 235 NURS CNCPT HLTH & ILLNESS-LPN, NURS 260 SYNTHS OF CONCEPTS FOR THE LPN.
Capstone Course
This course includes 45 hours of preceptorship and a review for the NCLEX. Attendance at review is mandatory. (NURS 265 PROF NRS&HLTH SYS CONC-LPN)
