Associate of Science, A.S.
The Associate of Science Degree is designed for transfer to other colleges and universities by students seeking bachelor’s degrees. Focus areas are typically in the following fields: biology, chemistry, geology, physics, engineering or pre-professional study which can lead to study in dentistry, medicine, pharmacy, physical therapy, veterinarian science or other health sciences. For several of these degrees (for example, pharmacy, medical school, etc.) you could meet all of the pre-requisite requirements with our courses and obtain a bachelor’s degree here at WVUP that would qualify you for entrance directly into the program.

These courses are the keys to graduation. Courses should be taken in the recommended semesters to stay on time for completion.

Transfer Courses
Several electives are embedded into the curriculum to provide the flexibility to tailor your degree to fit your intended transfer program.
Students should average 15 credit hours per semester, or 30 per year, to graduate on time.
