This course covers social, legal and ethical issues professionals will face throughout their career.
STEM 320  ENGINEERING ECONOMICS  
3 Credit Hours  
Principles of economic analysis in engineering decision-making will be studied. Topics include: making economic decisions; engineering costs and cost estimating; interest, interest formulas and equivalence; analysis (present worth, annual cash flow, rate of return, incremental, replacement); financial uncertainty; depreciation; taxes; inflation and price change.
STEM 393  COOPERATIVE WORK EXPERIENCE  
1-12 Credit Hours  
Cooperative work experience placements must be approved by the academic division.
STEM 420  PROJECT MANAGEMENT  
3 Credit Hours  
Course covers the how, when and why to plan and implement all the stages of project management from conception, planning, and implementation, through to completion.
STEM 460  STEM ADVANCED CAPSTONE COURSE  
1 Credit Hour  
Required prior to graduation and taken during final semester. Students must successfully complete an external industry-standard assessment in a STEM field to pass the course. Students additionally participate in advanced capstone experience activities.
